MYTH MASQUE is where the boundaries of reality are defied by the impossible through expression and custumes of the highest calibre. One spectacular night where the energy invoked through Fashion and Fantasy makes Socrates statement a reality: “Imagination is more important than knowledge”
An Annual Masquerade Ball, themed costume event at VIBIANA. The adventure unfolds in a visually striking, immersive environment. Guests enjoy a high-end evening of ‘dress up,’ music, dancing, performances, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, tantalizing treats and photo-ops, along with other key highlights.
Due to the immersive theme of this Event, everyone who attends MYTH MASQUE must be in costume. Don’t let this intimidate you! While many of the guests enjoy making their own elaborate costumes, others prefer to rent a costume, or simply attend in formal attire with a mask, which is perfectly acceptable.
Costumes befitting the theme are encouraged: mythological beasts, creatures of legend, fantastical characters and denizens of your own design. Imaginative takes on any of the following genres are welcome: Medieval, Renaissance, Rococo, Gothic, Victorian, Edwardian, Rococopunk, Steampunk, Post-Apocalyptic. New and unusual ideas are welcome, with one requirement: be impressive! This is your chance to shine, to show off your creative work at its very best…this certainly isn’t your average costume party. So long as you are in costume, you are welcome at MYTH MASQUE–and the more extravagant your outfit, the better.
MYTH Masque is a high-end, high-production adventure; some of the top sound and lighting experts in the biz will 
create a seamless night of festivity and fantasy. You will be immersed in a wonderland of inspiration as you mingle with some of the most talented costume designers, makeup-artists and avant garde fashionistas around. All PASSPORTS (tickets) include the scope of the evening’s entertainment, provided by incredible performers and other atmospheric artists. You will also discover imaginative and interactive photo-op areas throughout the space, in which to showcase your brilliant costumes. Each of the different PASSPORTS (tickets) entitle their holders to various perks, including advanced entry to the Event, early evening festivities as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres and alcohol provided by the exciting sponsors. (Yes, with the purchase of a VIP PASSPORT (ticket), hors d’oeurves and alcohol from the Sponsors are free.) Be sure to review the details of each the PASSPORTS (tickets), before deciding which is best tailored to your desired experience.
Tickets will not be available at the door. All tickets must be purchased in advance of the Event. VIP Tickets sell out almost a month in advance!
Earlier in the evening, you’ll enjoy a set of dark and elegant Waltzes, as any formal ball should have… Energetic Electronica and dance music will also fill the corridors of the VIBIANA to carry the mood, and you might expect some Rock, Synthpop or Gothic tunes thrown in for flavor. As this is a Fantasy Masquerade, the soundtrack for the evening will also be in line with that theme. The DJs and Performers pay homage to upbeat 80s songs and Electronica made popular in Fantasy film scores.
The promise of glitter, cupcakes and Unicorns seems to suggest fun for all ages; however, MYTH MASQUE was created specifically with the ‘inner child’ in mind. The event may have some adult-oriented themes and performances that might be inappropriate for a younger crowd. They also adhere to certain restrictions in order to provide guests with complimentary alcohol from sponsors; therefore, MYTH MASQUE is strictly adults-only (21+ with ID). There is a gorgeous hotel that is literally right across the street from the VIBIANA. You will be able to walk comfortably to, and from MYTH Masque. No shuttle required!
